I was trying to get a good picture of the beautiful streets in Ponta Delgada. I almost waited for this family to pass by to get the picture of the street and its beautiful tile work. Then I remembered something someone said about taking pictures. They said, "leave the people in the shot. It sometimes makes your picture more interesting." I like this picture more with the family in it.
Getting a camera was a way to capture things I might like to draw or paint. And now the hobby of photography has turned to passion and I am trying to keep a lid on obsession. For those who have purchased and viewed my pictures, I am most appreciative -- thank you very much.
